CITY OF DUNEDIN, FLORIDA

Sealed bids for the supply of “Janitorial Services” to the City of Dunedin will be received until the time and date noted below at the Purchasing Office, in the City of Dunedin Municipal Services Building, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Individuals requiring assistance under the provision of American with Disabilities Act (ADA) should submit their requirements in writing to the Purchasing Section forty-eight [48] hours prior to the bid opening.

The awarded Contractor will provide all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, supplies and materials required to complete the work. Janitorial services are required for various City buildings in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment. The types of services include, but are not limited to; day porter, routine scheduled cleaning, floor maintenance, and supplies distribution and inventory. Janitorial services represents a significant resource for managing and maintaining a quality indoor environment. Contractors are expected to provide janitorial services that are cost efficient that meets or exceeds the City's level of customer satisfaction.

A Pre-Bid Conference and Facility Tour is Mandatory for all bidders. Please see Section C Item 6 for instructions on scheduling a Pre-Bid Conference and Facility Tour.

All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond drawn in favor of the City of Dunedin in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. No bidder shall withdraw his bid after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. All bids must be firm bids for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the time set for opening bids. The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept such bids, as are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions may be disqualified.
