The City of Sarasota proudly supports Black History Month
The City of Sarasota commemorates Black History Month with a Public Service Announcement (PSA) broadcast on the City's Website and a display in the lobby of City Hall the entire month of February including photographs and newspaper articles charting African-American trailblazers in Sarasota and the history of racial integration in Sarasota County.
The City is dedicated to the visitors, citizens and residents of Sarasota by providing excellent customer service and continuously achieving a high standard of the quality of work overall exceptional quality of life and a great experience for all. We in City government are proud of our African-American residents and employees and are appreciative of the progress made possible by their leadership.
