NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND NOTICE OF ADMINISTRATION (Testate)
IN THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FLORIDA PROBATE DIVISION

IN RE: ESTATE OF
JOHN W. LAFOLLETTE,
DECEASED.
The administration of the Estate of JOHN W. LAFOLLETTE, deceased, whose date of death was March 18, 2018, is pending in the Circuit Court for Charlotte County, Florida, Probate Division, the address of which is 350 E. Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. The estate is testate and date of the decedent's Will is March 27, 1998. The name and address of the Personal Representative and the Personal Representative's attorney are set forth below. The fiduciary lawyer-client privilege in Fla. Stat. §90.5021 applies with respect to the Personal Representative and any attorney or agent employed by him.
Any interested person as defined in Fla. Stat. §731.201(23) on whom a copy of the Notice of Administration is served must object to the qualifications of the Personal Representative, venue, or jurisdiction of the court must file any objection with the court in the manner provided in the Florida Probate Rules and Fla. Stat. §733.212, WITHIN THREE (3) MONTHS AFTER THE DATE OF SERVICE OF A COPY OF THIS NOTICE ON THE OBJECTING PERSON, OR THOSE OBJECTIONS ARE FOREVER BARRED.
Any person entitled to exempt property is required to file a Petition for Determination of Exempt Property WITHIN THE TIME PRESCRIBED BY FLA. STAT. §733.212 OR THE RIGHT TO EXEMPT PROPERTY IS DEEMED WAIVED.
Any person entitled to an elective share must file an election to take elective share WITHIN THE TIME PRESCRIBED BY FLA. STAT. §733.212.
All creditors of the decedent and other persons having claims or demands against decedent's estate, on whom a copy of this Notice is required to be served must file their claims with this Court ON OR BEFORE THE LATER OF 3 MONTHS AFTER THE TIME OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR 30 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SERVICE OF A COPY OF THIS NOTICE ON THEM.
All other creditors of the decedent and other persons having claims or demands against the decedent's estate, must file their claims with this court WITHIN 3 MONTHS AFTER THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE.
ALL CLAIMS NOT FILED WITHIN THE TIME PERIODS SET FORTH IN SECTION 733.702 OF THE FLORIDA STATUTES WILL BE FOREVER BARRED.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE TIME PERIODS SET FORTH ABOVE, ANY CLAIM FILED TWO (2) YEARS OR MORE AFTER THE DECEDENT'S DATE OF DEATH IS BARRED.
