ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida will receive sealed bids in the Purchasing Department, at the School Administration Building, 301 Fourth Street SW, Largo, Florida, 33770-3536 until 3 p.m. E.T., on April 9, 2018 for the purpose of selecting one (1) distributor for Cafeteria Paper & Supply Products.

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Cafeteria Paper & Supply Products for the Pinellas County School Board (the District), Florida. The district requests proposals from experienced and qualified Food Service Distribution Vendors to provide and deliver paper and supply products. The Distribution Vendor will be responsible for but not limited to;
a) Offering a fixed per case fee for delivered product
b) Competitively bid products that are requested by the district following the district's specifications
c) Delivery weekly to approximately 120 district facilities throughout Pinellas County
d) Delivering supplies and “emergency” products as required
e) Supplying the brands and product codes that are originally bid (without substitution) for the entire term of this contract and any subsequent renewal periods.
f) Distributor will be given the opportunity to petition for escalation or de-escalation of firm product pricing for items delivered under this contract, based upon current, documented market indicators obtained at six-month intervals. All such requests for price changes (increases or decreases) shall be submitted to the district in written form.
Public opening of the bids will occur in the Room A318 at the above address and all interested parties are invited to be present.
