Sarasota, FL - The Bay Park Conservancy, Inc. (BPC) is soliciting Request For Qualifications (RFQ) from interested persons or organizations, qualified as construction manager / general contractor firms in the State of Florida for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk services for Phase 1 of The Bay Master Plan, dated July 24, 2019, which includes, but is not limited to, providing preconstruction phase, construction phase, and minimum one-year Warranty for the following project:
The scope of work for Phase 1 will consist of an approximate $15-20M construction budget and is comprised of various improvements of approximately 10 acres of land located from Boulevard of the Arts (BOTA) west of US-41 to Sarasota Bay and north to the existing bayou just south of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall; associated parking and roadway areas; and an environmentally sensitive tidal bayou south of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall property. Preconstruction & Construction services for all Phase 1 work, including but not limited to, improvements include the demolition of the existing parking areas; possible exotic invasive removal, landscape enhancements, walking paths, and pedestrian boardwalk / bridges along the banks of the tidal bayou; roadway improvements along Boulevard of the Arts (BOTA); infrastructure and utility improvements; restroom facility, pavilion facilities, bayfront tide level coastal improvements and an approximate 15,000-20,000 SF pier extending into Sarasota Bay. Future adjacent impacts of a roundabout and pedestrian bridge crossing at BOTA and US-41 (not part of this RFQ) should also be considered.
Submittal Deadline For Request For Qualifications: All responses to this Request For Qualifications must be received in the office of The Bay Park Conservancy, Inc., 655 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34236, Attention: Lori Denny [email protected] no later than 2:00pm EST, August 22, 2019. Request For Qualifications received after the established deadline will not be accepted and will be returned without further consideration. A NON-mandatory Pre-Submittal Meeting is scheduled for 11:00AM EST, August 5, 2019 at The Bay Park Conservancy, Inc., 655 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34236. Applicant must be a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida and if a corporation, must be registered by the Department of State, Division of Corporations at the time of application. Applicants for the Project must apply in writing for consideration.
