On or about November 28, 2016, Paula D. Hood was appointed plenary guardian of the person and property of MURIEL W. CHAPMAN in the Probate Court of Charlotte County, Florida, 350 E. Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, Florida 33950, File No. 16-001705-CP. The names and addresses of the Plenary Guardian and the Plenary Guardian's attorney are set forth below.
A Petition for Discharge has been filed because the Ward's domicile has changed to Cobb County, Georgia. Paula D. Hood has been appointed Guardian and Conservator of the person and property of MURIEL W. CHAPMAN in the Probate Court of Cobb County, Georgia, 32 Waddell Street, Marietta, Georgia 30090, Estate No. 19-0728. The name and address of Georgia counsel is Marlys Bergstrom, Bergstrom Law, 2625 Sandy Plains Road, Suite 203, Marietta, Georgia 30066.
The Plenary Guardian has scheduled a Hearing on the Petition for Discharge on October 1, 2019, at 1:30 p.m.
Any objection to the transfer of this guardianship matter to the Probate Court of Cobb County, Georgia, shall be in writing and shall state with particularity each item to which the objection is directed and the grounds on which the objection is based, and any objection to the final report or the petition for discharge shall be filed within the LATER OF 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SERVICE OF PETITION FOR DISCHARGE OR THE DATE OF FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE.
Within 90 days after filing of the objection, a notice of hearing thereon shall be served or the objection is abandoned.
