Notice is hereby given that Lakewood Ranch Community Development District 5 (the “District”) will accept bids from all qualified companies interested in providing Fiscal Year 2019 Storm Sewer Repairs.
The Bid document will be available for public inspection and may be obtained beginning on January 30, 2019 after 10:00 a.m. (EST) on-site at Lakewood Ranch/Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202. Lakewood Ranch has partnered with BidNet as part of the Florida Purchasing Group and will post their bid opportunities to this site. The Bid document will also be available on our web-site at www.lakewoodranchgov.org/IDA-purch.php and it may also be requested via e-mail at [email protected].
Companies desiring to submit bids for this project shall attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on February 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (EST) at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202 and submit one (1) original and three (3) identical hard copies of the required bid no later than February 20, 2019 until 3:30 p.m. (EST) at the Lakewood Ranch/Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202, Attention: Ana Owen, Purchasing Manager.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed package, shall bear the name of the bidder on the outside of the package and shall clearly identify the project as “ITB No. 19-002B, Fiscal Year 2019 Storm Sewer Repairs”. Bids may be either mailed or hand-delivered. No facsimile, telephonic, electronic, or telegraphic submittals will be accepted.
A public opening of all bids will be held at 3:30 p.m. (EST), or as soon thereafter as possible, on February 20, 2019 at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Lakewood Ranch, FL. 34202. Bids received after the scheduled date and time for submittal will not be considered but can be claimed by the owner within ten (10) calendar days of February 20, 2019 or if not retrieved within the aforementioned timeframe, may be destroyed by the respective District.

The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in their sole and absolute discretion, whether or not reasonable, either with or without cause, to waive technical errors and informality, to postpone the award of the contract, to elect not to proceed with the subject award process and to accept a bid or portion of a bid, which in their judgment best serves the District.
Any and all questions relative to this Invitation to Bid (ITB) shall be directed in writing only to Ana Owen, via e-mail at [email protected]. Questions received after 5:00 p.m., on February 12, 2019 will not be answered. Answers to all questions will be provided in form of an Addendum to all bidders via e-mail that have an e-mail address on file, they will also be posted on Florida Purchasing Group and on the Lakewood Ranch web-site at www.lakewoodranchgov.org/IDA-purch.php.
