The work generally consists of all labor, materials, tools, accessories and adjunct services for the erection of a new pre-engineered metal building structure and the construction of all designed improvements necessary to house the Dunedin Golf Club's 13,223 s.f. Cart Barn and 1,736 s.f. air-conditioned Pro Shop space that is connected to the Cart Barn. Total gross square footage of the new single-story building is 14,959 s.f. The designed improvements to the already purchased pre-engineered metal building include foundation, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler protection along with the interior build-out and storefront improvements as identified in the Construction Documents. All site work outside the foot print of the building including grading, drainage, landscape, irrigation and paving will be performed by the Owner.
The budgeted amount for the project is $185,000.00.
The time allotted for this project is 60 days, for substantial completion.
All contractor Requests For Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) calendar days before the bid opening, to Chuck Ankney, Purchasing Agent, at [email protected] prior to 2:00 p.m., local time. The City will not respond to RFI's submitted after that date. The City will process the requests and respond within a timely manner.
Sealed proposals will be accepted by the City of Dunedin, Purchasing Office, 750 Milwaukee Avenue, Dunedin, Florida 34698, until
2:00 P.M., Local Time
Tuesday, August 13, 2019
at which time, bids will be opened and read aloud in the Engineering Conference Room, located at the Office of the City Engineer, 737 Louden Ave, 2nd Floor, Dunedin, FL 34698 .
All work performed shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents.

It is the bidder's responsibility to check the final documents and addendum prior to bid submittal.
Two copies of the bid proposal shall be submitted on the standard forms that are included in the specifications and must be marked,

In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidder's name and address and be accepted by the Purchasing Office by the time and date specified above. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashier's check or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. The City of Dunedin, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and to award the Contract in its best interest. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
