CHANGE IN WARD'S DOMICILE TO TEXAS

NOTICE is hereby given of the termination of the Florida Guardianship of the ward, Annette Godfrey. The guardianship will be terminated in Florida because of the ward's change of domicile to another state. The case is presently pending in the Circuit Court of the 6th Judicial Circuit of Pinellas County, Florida. The address of the Clerk of the Probate Court is: 315 Court Street, Clearwater, FL 33756.
The Florida Guardian will be discharged. A Guardian of the Ward has been appointed in the State of Texas. The address for the Guardian's attorney in Texas is: Rose Cohen, Attorney at Law, 805 W. 10th, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78701.
A Petition for discharge is pending in the Florida guardianship based upon the change of domicile of the ward. The guardian filed a final accounting on May 23, 2019, and has applied for discharge on May 23, 2019. If there are no objections, this matter may be resolved without hearing and the jurisdiction over this case will be transferred to the Probate Court in and for Travis County, Texas.
Any objections to the guardian's final report or to the petition for discharge must be filed with the clerk of the Florida court within the later of 30 days after service of these pleadings upon interested persons or the date of first publication of this notice. Objections shall be in writing and shall specify the nature of the objections with particularity. If a notice of hearing on the objections is not served within 90 days, any objections shall be deemed abandoned.
