LEGAL NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
AT RISK SERVICES
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
FOLLOWING PROCEDURES OF
THE CONSULTANT'S COMPETITIVE
NEGOTIATION ACT, CHAPTER 287.055, LAWS OF FLORIDA
Sarasota, FL-Bay Park Conservancy (BPC) is soliciting Request For Qualifications (RFQ) from interested persons or organizations, qualified as construction manager / general contractor firms in the State of Florida for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk services for Phase 1 of The Bay Master Plan, which includes, but is not limited to providing preconstruction phase, construction phase, and minimum One-year Warranty for the following project:
Phase 1 of The Bay Master Plan will consist of an approximate $15-20M construction budget and is comprised of various improvements of approximately 10 acres of land located from Boulevard of the Arts (BOTA) west of US-41 to Sarasota Bay and north to the existing bayou just south of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall; associated parking and roadway areas; and an environmentally sensitive tidal bayou south of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall property. Proposed improvements include the demotion of the existing parking areas; exotic invasive removal, landscape enhancements, walking paths, and pedestrian boardwalk / bridges along the banks of the tidal bayou; roadway improvements along Boulevard of the Arts (BOTA); infrastructure and utility improvements; restroom facility, pavilion facilities, and an approximate 15,000- 20,000 SF pier extending into Sarasota Bay. Future adjacent impacts of a roundabout and pedestrian bridge crossing at BOTA and US-41 (not part of this RFQ) should also be considered.
Submittal Deadline For Request For Qualifications: All responses to this Request For Qualifications must be received in the office of Bayfront Park Conservancy 655 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34236, Attention: Lori Denny [email protected] no later than 2:00pm EST, July 2, 2019 Request For Qualifications received after the established deadline will not be accepted and will be returned without further consideration. A mandatory Pre-Submittal Meeting is scheduled for 11:00AM EST, June 17, 2019 OR 11:00AM EST, June 28, 2019. Attendance is required at only one of the two meetings, as content will be the same in both. at the Bayfront Park Conservancy, Inc. 655 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34236. Applicant must be a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida and if a corporation, must be registered by the Department of State, Division of Corporations at the time of application. Applicants for the Project must apply in writing for consideration.
