NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Oakland will hold a public hearing on the following:
ORDINANCE 2019-08
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, repealing the existing Articles I, II, III, and V of Chapter 66, “Utilities”, transferring and renumbering without change the existing Article IV of Chapter 66 to create a new Article VI of Chapter 58 of this Code of Ordinances, and adopting a new Chapter 66, “Utilities”; and providing for conflicts, codification, severability and an effective date.
The public hearing will take place as follows:
DATE: May 28, 2019
WHERE: Historic Town Hall, 220 N. Tubb Street
WHEN: 7:00 P.M.
All hearings are open to the public. Any interested party is invited to offer comments about this ordinance at the public hearing or in writing to the Town of Oakland, PO Box 98, Oakland, FL 34760, or by e-mail to [email protected]. A copy of the ordinance can be inspected at the Town Hall. Any party appealing a decision made at a public hearing must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the evidence and testimony that is the basis of the appeal.
The time and/or location of the public hearing is subject to change. Changes are announced at the scheduled hearing. Notice of any changes will not be published or mailed.
