The termination of the guardianship of JANET HURD (The Ward) is pending in the Circuit Court for SARASOTA County, Florida, Probate Division, the address of which is P.O. Box 3079, Sarasota, Florida 34230. The guardianship will be terminated in Sarasota, Florida because of the Ward's change in domicile to Minnesota. The names of the co-guardians, and the name and address of the attorney for the co-guardians, are set forth below.
The Florida co-guardians will be discharged and Carol Kollar and Donna Soucek will be appointed co-guardians in the Tenth Judicial District in and for Isanti County, Minnesota, pursuant to a hearing set for May 14, 2019. The Minnesota co-guardians' attorney is Anne Tessneer, Esq., 440 Emerson Street North, Suite #1, Cambridge, MN 55008.
The Florida co-guardians' filed a Final Accounting on May 17, 2019, and will apply for discharge on May 17, 2019. If there are no objections, this matter may be resolved without hearing and the jurisdiction over this case will be transferred to the Probate Court of the Tenth Judicial District in and for Isanti County, Minnesota.
Any objection to the co-guardians' Final Report or to the Petition for Discharge must be filed with the clerk of the Florida court within the later of 30 days after service of these pleadings upon interested persons or the date of first publication of this notice. Objections shall be in writing and shall specify the nature of the objections with particularity. If a notice of hearing on the objections is not served within 90 days of filling of the objection, any objections shall be deemed abandoned.
The date of first publication of this notice is May 24, 2019.
