ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida will receive sealed Request for Qualifications in the Purchasing Department of the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida 301 - Fourth Street S.W., Largo, Florida 33770-3536 until 4 p.m. local time, on October 8, 2019 for the purpose of selecting a firm for Design Services required for the scope listed below.

SCOPE OF PROJECT: The Pinellas County School Board (the district) requests qualification statements from experienced and qualified firms or individuals to provide architectural design services for the above reference project.
Scope of Work: In the cafeteria replace existing flooring, ceiling, lights, HVAC and serving line. In the food service area upgrade the main electrical distribution panel and replace the kitchen hood. Upgrade the main campus electrical panel. In the media center provide new ceilings and lights and repaint the interior. At the existing kindergarten classroom building renovate to accommodate a 3 classroom, 3 restroom Pre-K program. At the existing administration building relocate the exterior entry into the reception area to the west side. Site improvements to include a new main vehicular and pedestrian entry point on the west side of the campus which will include a new school sign/masonry monument entry element to enhance the presence of the school in the community. Provide master plan for future classroom buildings.

PHASE 1 SCHEMATIC DESIGN: 30 DAYS
PHASE 2 PRELIMINARY DESIGN DOCUMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS: 30 DAYS
PHASE 3 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS: 45 DAYS
Such time limitations shall be exclusive of review and approval.
