PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing before the Ocoee City Commission will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 6:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Commission Chambers of City Hall at 150 North Lakeshore Drive, Ocoee, Florida, to consider the following:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 168-2, CITY OF OCOEE CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO COLLECTION OF OUTSTANDING PARKING VIOLATIONS; AMENDING SECTION 168-4.1, CITY OF OCOEE CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES ON PUBLIC PROPERTY; AMENDING SECTION 168-5.1, CITY OF OCOEE CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO IMMOBILIZATION OF VEHICLES BEARING OUTSTANDING PARKING CITATIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 168, CITY OF OCOEE CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO COLLECTION OF UNPAID RED LIGHT VIOLATION NOTICES OR UNIFORM TRAFFIC CITATIONS; CREATING SECTION 168-14, CITY OF OCOEE CODE OF ORDINANCES, AUTHORIZING THE CLERK TO NOTIFY THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAY SAFETY AND MOTOR VEHICLES OF PERSONS WHO WERE MAILED AND DID NOT PAY OR FAILED TO APPEAR AT A HEARING RELATING TO A NOTICE OF VIOLATION OF ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 168 (RED LIGHT VIOLATIONS NOTICE), AUTHORIZING THE CLERK OF THE COURT TO NOTIFY THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAY SAFETY AND MOTOR VEHICLES OF PERSONS WHO WERE MAILED AND DID NOT PAY, FAILED TO APPEAR AT A HEARING, OR FAILED TO ATTEND A DRIVER IMPROVEMENT SCHOOL, RELATING TO A UNIFORM TRAFFIC CITATION RELATING TO ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 168 (RED LIGHT VIOLATIONS); PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard with respect to the above. The Ocoee City Commission may continue the public hearing to other dates and times, as it deems necessary. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing a special accommodation or an interpreter to participate in this proceeding should contact the City Clerk's office at 407-905-3105 at least two days prior to the date of hearing.
