HARBOR BAY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING HELD DURING PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY DUE TO COVID-19
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors (“Board”) of the Harbor Bay Community Development District (“District”) will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., at the MiraBay Clubhouse Lagoon Room located at 107 Manns Harbor Drive, Apollo Beach, Florida 33572, where the Board may consider any business that may properly come before it (“Meeting”). Alternatively or in addition to the in-person location, the Meeting may be conducted remotely, pursuant to Zoom media technology and/or by telephone pursuant to Executive Orders 20-52 and 20-69, as both may be amended and/or extended, issued by Governor DeSantis on March 9, 2020, and March 20, 2020, respectively, and pursuant to Section 120.54(5)(b)2., Florida Statutes. Anyone wishing to access and participate in the Meeting by remote means should use the following information to do so; call-in phone number (253) 215-8782 with meeting ID 889 6278 6772. If the Meeting is held in-person, in-person attendance will be limited to Board Supervisors, District staff, and a maximum of thirty (30) members of the public. Additionally, those attending in-person may be required to adhere to certain health safety protocols (for example, social distancing or wearing a mask). Once capacity is reached, those who
would like to attend and participate in the Meeting may do so via the Zoom and/or telephone conference line provided above. Please refer to the District's website harborbaycdd.org or contact the District Manager's Office (phone number and email provided below) beginning seven (7) days in advance of the Meeting to confirm if the meeting will be held in-person and any required health safety protocols.
While it is necessary to hold the above referenced meeting of the District's Board of Supervisors, which may be held in person or utilizing ZOOM media technology due to the current COVID-19 public health emergency, the District fully encourages public participation in a safe and efficient manner. Toward that end, participants are strongly encouraged to submit questions and comments to the District Manager at least 24-hours in advance at (321) 263-0132 or [email protected] to facilitate the Board's consideration of such questions and comments during the meeting. The Meeting is open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida law for community development districts. The Meeting may be continued to a date, time, and place to be specified on the record at such Meeting. A copy of the agenda may be obtained by contacting the District Manager's Office at the phone number or email address provided above.
Each person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the Meeting is advised that person will need a record of proceedings and that accordingly, the person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
As indicated above, this Meeting may be conducted by media communications technology. In such event, anyone requiring assistance in order to obtain access to the telephonic, video conferencing, or other communications media technology being utilized to conduct this meeting should contact the District Manager's Office at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting. Similarly, any person requiring or that otherwise may need assistance accessing or participating in this Meeting because of a disability or physical impairment is strongly encouraged to contact the District Manager's Office at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance for further accommodations.
