The Town of Oakland Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing to consider rezoning certain property generally located east of the Florida Turnpike, south of State Road 50/West Colonial Drive and west of 4th Street, containing approximately 7.4 acres.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE TOWN'S OFFICIAL ZONING MAP DESIGNATION FROM A-1, AGRICULTURE (ORANGE COUNTY) TO I-1, INDUSTRIAL IN THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FOR A PARCEL OF LAND OWNED BY CRA-MAR GROVES, INC. BEARING PROPERTY TAX PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (ADDRESS) 29-22-27-0000-00-002, 29-22-27-0000-00-040, AND 29-22-27-0000-00-019 (16610 WEST COLONIAL DRIVE, OAKLAND, FLORIDA), WITH AN APPROXIMATE SIZE OF 7.4 ACRES; MAKING FINDINGS, AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Public hearing will be held on the request as follows:

All hearings are open to the public however attendance inside the Oakland Meeting Hall may be limited to accommodate social distancing. Any interested party is invited to offer comments about this request at the public hearing or in advance by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2020 in writing to the Town of Oakland, PO Box 98, Oakland FL 34760, or by e-mail to [email protected]. A copy of the request can be inspected at the Town Hall. Any party appealing a land use decision made at a public hearing must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the evidence and testimony that is the basis of the appeal.
The time and/or location of public hearings are subject to change. Changes are announced at the initial scheduled hearing. Notice of any changes will not be published or mailed.
