NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA
Pursuant to the Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the City of Winter Garden City Commission will, on June 25, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon after as possible, hold a public hearing in the City Commission Chambers located at 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida in order to consider the adoption of the following ordinance(s):
ORDINANCE 20-23
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA, AMENDING AND REPLACING ORDINANCE 18-09 GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE WEST MARKET PCD PERTAINING TO THE 18.25 +/- ACRE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF WEST COLONIAL DRIVE, WEST OF SOUTH PARK AVENUE, AND NORTH OF SAND LIME ROAD; AMENDING THE WEST MARKET PCD TO ALLOW AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CENTER AND BANK WITH DRIVE-THRU AS PERMITTED USES, AMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND OTHER DEVELOPMENT RESTRICTIONS; PROVIDING FOR NON-SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies of the proposed ordinance(s) (which includes the legal description in metes and bounds of the proposed site) may be inspected by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday of each week, except for legal holidays, at the Planning & Zoning Division in City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the meetings and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance(s). Written comments will be accepted before or at the public hearings. Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board at such hearing will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose you may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. The City does not provide this verbatim record. Persons with disabilities needing special accommodations to participate in this public hearing should contact the City Clerk's Office at (407) 656-4111 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. Monday through Friday of each week, except for legal holidays, at the Planning & Zoning Division in City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida.
