NOTICE OF TELEPHONIC PUBLIC MEETING
The Governing Board (“Board”) of the Babcock Ranch Community Independent Special District (“District”) will hold a telephonic public meeting on May 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., at 1-888-354-0094, CONFERENCE ID: 2144145, pursuant to Executive Orders 20-52 , 20-69 and 20-112 issued by Governor DeSantis on March 9, 2020, March 20, 2020 and April 29, 2020, respectively, and pursuant to Section 120.54(5)(b)2., Florida Statutes. Consistent with the Executive Orders and except as otherwise provided for herein, there will not be any Supervisors or staff physically present at a specific meeting location for this meeting.
At such time the Board is so authorized and may consider the State Infrastructure Bank Methodology Report, consider a proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2020-2021, adopt a resolution related to the internal controls policy, consider responses to RFP for project engineering services and RFQ for design criteria services, consider acceptance of the Fiscal Year 2019 audited annual financial report and any other business that may properly come before it, which are necessary for the proper operation of the District.
While it is necessary to hold the above referenced meeting of the District's Governing Board utilizing communications media technology due to the current COVID-19 public health emergency, the District fully encourages public participation in a safe and efficient manner. Toward that end, anyone wishing to listen and participate in the meeting can do so telephonically at 1-888-354-0094, Conference ID: 2144145. Additionally, participants are encouraged to submit questions and comments to the District Manager no later than 2:00 p.m., on May 19, 2020 at 561-571-0010 or [email protected] to facilitate the Board's consideration of such questions and comments during the meeting.

The meeting is open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida law. The meeting may be continued to a date, time, and place to be specified on the record at such meeting. Board Members and District Staff will participate by speaker telephone.

As indicated above, this meeting will be conducted by media communications technology. Anyone requiring assistance in order to obtain access to the telephonic, video conferencing, or other communications media technology being utilized to conduct this meeting should contact the District Manager's Office at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting.
Each person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the meeting is advised that person will need a record of proceedings and that accordingly, the person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
