Pursuant to Chapter 49, Florida Statutes, YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that an action to forfeit $6.562.00 in U.S. Currency, seized during a traffic stop in the 3000 Block of Osprey Avenue in Sarasota, Florida, on or about May 9, 2020, has been filed against you and you are required to serve a copy of your written defenses, if any, to it on Joseph J. Polzak, Attorney for the Petitioner City of Sarasota f/b/o the Sarasota Police Department, whose address is 1 S. School Avenue, Suite 700, Sarasota, Florida 34237, and file the original with the Clerk of the above styled Court on or before November 23, 2020 (30 days after the first publication); otherwise a default will be entered against you for the relief prayed for in the complaint.
This notice shall be published once a week for four consecutive weeks in the BUSINESS OBSERVER (Sarasota) on October 23, 2020, October 30, 2020, November 6, 2020 and November 13, 2020.
