TAKE NOTICE: A petition seeking to terminate your parental rights to the minor child, named above, has been filed against you.
You are required to a file written Answer to the Petition within forty (40) days following the first publication date that appears below. Upon your failure to do so, your parental rights may be terminated at a Hearing in Juvenile Court, 302 Broad Street, New Bern, North Carolina, immediately following said 40-day answer period, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard.
You are entitled to attend any Hearing affecting your parental rights. You are entitled to be represented by counsel, court-appointed, if you are indigent, provided you request counsel at, or prior to, said Hearing. You may contact the Clerk of Superior Court immediately to request counsel. Notice of date, time and place of the Hearing in this matter will be mailed to you upon filing of an answer.
