CITY OF DUNEDIN REQUEST FOR BANK LOAN PROPOSALS RFP 21-1181
The City of Dunedin, Florida (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified financial institutions to provide a tax-exempt fixed rate bank loan (the “Loan” or the “Note”), at the lowest overall borrowing cost, pursuant to certain conditions. The proceeds of the Loan will be used, along with other available money of the City if any, for the acquisition, design, construction, reconstruction and equipping of various capital projects of the City, including, without limitation, of a building to be used for City Hall purposes and adjacent parking and to fund the cost of issuance associated with the Loan.

The City shall accept and review proposals from qualified banking institutions. Proposals for a tax-exempt fixed rate loan should be submitted based upon the proposed financing structure below. The City will select the bank financing that provides the lowest overall borrowing cost to the City and meets the financing requirements of the City. Hilltop Securities Inc. (“HilltopSecurities”), Orlando, Florida, as the City's Financial Advisor, will be assisting the City with respect to the Loan.

Sealed Proposals. Responses to this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope (please submit one unbound original and one usb copy), clearly identified as:

Proposals are due no later than the date and time noted above. Any proposal received after that date and time will not be accepted. Any individual requiring special assistance must notify the Purchasing Office in writing 48 hours in advance so that arrangements can be made. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days, from the opening date, without the consent of the City of Dunedin, Florida.
