Heritage Harbor Community Development District Lutz, Fl Request For Proposals For Pump Project
The Heritage Harbor Community Development District (the “District”) hereby requests proposals for a new surface water pump station, as more specifically set fmth in the RFP Package.
The RFP Package will be available beginning on August 13, 2021 and is available by email request to Dale Ballenger, Project Manager, at [email protected], or Ray Lotito, Assistant District Manager, at [email protected]. The RFP Package will include, but not be limited to, this Request for Proposals, the Instructions to Proposers, the Scope of Work, the Evaluation Criteria, the Official Bid Proposal Form, and the required affidavits.
Ranking of proposals will be made on the basis of qualifications according to the Evaluation Criteria contained within the RFP Package; however, please note that proposals received from firms failing to meet the following minimum qualifications/requirements will not be considered or evaluated: (1) Proposer must be licensed in the state of Florida and (2) Proposer must have worked on similar projects within the last 2 years. The District will award the work to the proposer that the District detennines, in its sole discretion, has the most advantageous proposal pursuant to the Evaluation Criteria. The Board of Supervisors of the District, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, make modifications to the work, and waive any minor informalities and irregularities in proposals as it deems appropriate, if it determines in its discretion that it is in the best interest of the District to do so. Any proposal not completed as specified or missing the required proposal documents as provided in the RFP Package may be disqualified.
There will be a mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Heritage Harbor Clubhouse, 19502 Heritage Harbor Parkway, Lutz, Florida 33558. Any and all questions relative to this project shall be directed in writing to Dale Ballenger and Ray Lotito at the emails listed above. The deadline for submitting questions relative to this project is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
Firms desiring to provide services for this project must submit 1 hard copy of the proposal no later than 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021, to the District Counsel's office located at 1510 W. Cleveland St., Tampa, FL 33606 and 1 electronic version of the proposal no later than 3:00 p.m. on the same day to Dale Ballenger and Ray Lotito at the emails listed above. Bids will be opened at 1:02 p.m. on the same day and may be personally attended. At the bid opening the name of each proposer and price submitted on the Official Bid Proposal Form will be announced and such information will be made available upon request.
