The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida will receive sealed Request for Qualifications in the Purchasing Department of the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida 301 - Fourth Street S.W., Largo, Florida 33770-3536 until 4 p.m. local time, on January 11, 2022 for the purpose of selecting a firm for Construction Management Services required for the scope listed below.

SCOPE OF PROJECT: During the 2020-21 school year, Public Safety Radio Frequency Assessments were conducted by testing the 800 MHz Radio Frequency (RF) signal metrics throughout 131 schools and ancillary facilities within the Pinellas County School District. The purpose of the assessments was to determine the areas of each campus that do not meet the Emergency Services RF signal requirements outlined in NFPA 72 & 1221 and Pinellas County Compliant Public Safety In Building Two-Way Radio Communications Enhancement System Requirements. In total, 74 sites require enhancement ranging from a specific location in a single building to campus wide.

The Scope of Work for the awarded firm(s) is to provide a turnkey service for design and installation of systems to enhance the radio frequencies to support public safety and first responders as outlined in NFPA 72 & 1221.
