NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Florida Statutes 705.182 and 705.183(4)(b) that the CHARLOTTE COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, shall sell at public sale held on October 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. that certain derelict aircraft described as a Grumman AA- 1: Serial Number AA1-0427, Tail Number N6227L to the highest and best bidder for cash at Charlotte County Airport Authority Commission Board meeting room, located at 7375 Utilities Road, Building 313, Punta Gorda Florida 33982.
The subject aircraft is known to be unairworthy and otherwise derelict. The subject aircraft shall be sold “where is as is”. The aircraft can be evaluated prior to the bid date by contacting Keith Hafenbreidel, FBO Manager, at 1.941.639.1101 ext. 118 or [email protected]. Photographs of the aircraft can be viewed at www.flypgd.com/yankee. Purchaser must remove the aircraft from the Charlotte County Airport Authority property within 14 days of the public sale.
IF YOU ARE A SUBORDINATE LIENHOLDER (none known) CLAIMING A RIGHT TO FUNDS REMAINING AFTER THE SALE, YOU MUST FILE A CLAIM WITH DAROL H.M. CARR, Esq. at the below address NO LATER THAN 10 DAYS AFTER THE SALE. IF YOU FAIL TO FILE A CLAIM, YOU WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REMAINING FUNDS AND ALL PROCEEDS, IF ANY, AFTER ACCRUED RENTAL FEES, COSTS AND LEGAL FEES SHALL BE REMITTED TO THE OWNER.
