CITY OF DUNEDIN DUNEDIN, FLORIDA INVITATION TO BID #22-1193
Sealed bids for the “Furnish & Install A Wastewater Plant Grit Classifier” project will be received until the time and date noted below at the Purchasing Office, at the Dunedin Community Center - Elliot Room, 1920 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened and read out loud in the conference room at that location. Individuals requiring assistance under the provision of American with Disabilities Act (ADA) should submit their requirements in writing to the Purchasing Section forty-eight [48] hours prior to the bid opening.

The awarded Contractor will provide all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, supplies and materials required to complete the work. The awarded Contractor will furnish and install a new grit classifier at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1140 MLK Jr. Avenue Dunedin, FL 34698.

SITE VISIT - Contractors wishing to inspect the site may call Brian Antonian (Wastewater Plant Supervisor) at 727-831-1289 to schedule a site visit.

Envelopes containing bids shall be securely sealed and clearly marked:

2:30 pm Tuesday, November 2, 2021
DO NOT OPEN IN MAILROOM”

All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond drawn in favor of the City of Dunedin in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.

Bid specifications are available at the office the Purchasing Agent (Phone: 727-298-3077) at the address noted above. You may also email your request to: [email protected] or download the specifications from www.demandstar.com. There is no cost for the specifications.

Bids shall be prepared in the same format as listed in the specifications and remain firm for a period of 90 calendar days. The City reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interest of the City; to waive informalities; or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with these instructions and specifications may be disqualified.
