Notice of Hillsborough County's Intent to Issue an Exemption Permit within certain Manatee Protected Areas
Notice is hereby given that or after October 14th, 2021, Hillsborough County intends to issue an exemption permit to Michael Murphy, exempting said permittee from compliance with manatee-related speed restrictions while conducting commercial fishing/professional guide activities within the following Hillsborough County manatee protected areas: Bahia Beach MPA, Cockroach Bay MPA, Alafia River MPA, Bullfrog Creek MPA, Harbor Bay MPA and Big Bend MPA. Any substantially affected party may appeal this decision in accordance with the procedure set forth in Hillsborough County Manatee Protection Ordinance No. 01-32.
