ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida will receive sealed bids in the Purchasing Department, at the School Administration Building, 301 Fourth Street SW, Largo, Florida, 33770-3536 until 3 p.m. E.T., on November 16, 2021 for the purpose of selecting a supplier/contractor for Walk-In Cooler/Freezer Replacement.

SCOPE
The purpose and intent of this invitation to bid is to select a supplier to provide and Install four (4) new Walk- in Cooler/Freezer units per bid specifications. All indoor walk-ins shall have a minimum of 2” of air gap between wall of building and wall of cooler/freezer unless otherwise directed to alternate dimension. The box size listed below is an estimated size for pricing and will be within the limits but could vary plus or minus a foot in any measurement per factory. The awarded bidder will need to sign off on the drawings for each box that allows max refrigeration SQF for location SQF and proper measurements for door and floors to align with building structure. When successful bidder has final drawing, they will sign off on them and then send to PCSB to verify and sign off on. Supplier is responsible to coordinate with the factory to have the units delivered to the contractor/installer who will be responsible for delivering the units to the schools listed in the table below and installing them. The contractor/installer shall be required to furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment and supervision required for the complete demolition, removal and disposal of the existing equipment as detailed in the specifications and installing the new units. Installation of the evaporators for outside boxes shall be done before the membrane roof goes on and shall be installed by PCSB Technicians. Pinellas County School Board will provide all utility hook-ups and start-up for each unit. Refrigeration equipment removal, purchase and installation will be done by owner. LED light fixtures will be installed by owner.
