COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT TRANSMITTAL
PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS ELEMENT AND NEW
POLICY 1.1.6 RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE ELEMENT -
FERNWOOD PARK
Notice is hereby given, as required by Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, that a proposed comprehensive plan amendment will be reviewed by the Town Council, serving as the Town's Local Land Planning Agency, and by the Town Council to transmit the proposed comprehensive plan amendment to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Orange County, and other state and regional agencies for review and comment. The proposed comprehensive plan amendment will adopt a new Private Property Rights Element and a new Policy 1.1.6 of the Recreation and Open Space Element to designate Fernwood Park as a boat ramp for Town residents only to the Town's Comprehensive Plan.
Interested parties may appear at the public hearings and may be heard with respect to the proposed comprehensive plan amendment. The proposed comprehensive plan amendment may be obtained by the public at the Town Clerk office located at 614 Main Street, Windermere, FL, 34786 between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm.
