Take notice that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows: damages related to a scope of work you performed in connection with the Gateway West Uptown Flats apartment complex located at 902 West Fourth Street, Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You are required to make defense to such pleading not later than 40 days after service hereof, and if you fail to answer the pleading within the time aforesaid, judgment by default will be rendered against you for money damages and the relief demanded in said pleading.
