Notice of the Establishment a Temporary Point of Compliance for a site, the source of which is located at 2735 Whitney Road, Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) intends to approve a Temporary Point of Compliance (TPOC). This TPOC is for cleaning solvents in groundwater from historic operations at the Site located at 2735 Whitney Road, Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida. The TPOC will be established at the possible limit of the solvents at the time that the FDEP approves the natural attenuation with monitoring as the best strategy for rehabilitation of this site, and it requires the establishment of a TPOC beyond the facility property boundary.
The Person Responsible for the Site Rehabilitation of this Site is Abilities, Inc. of Florida whose address is 2735 Whitney Road, Clearwater, FL 33760 (PRSR). The entire TPOC area, is called the “Site.” FDEP is in the process of reviewing a natural attenuation monitoring plan involving remediation of solvents in groundwater that requires establishment of a TPOC extending onto the properties (parcel numbers) listed below and shown on the map.
