Notice
The Plant City, FL Engineering Department, hereby gives notice of the City of Plant City's intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between 2400 Police Center Dr and Jim Johnson Road. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 22-04-0991P for a proposed project along Howell Branch. Charleston Enterprises, LLC is proposing to modify a control structure as part of a warehouse development.
Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request should be submitted that will, in part, revise the following flood hazards along Howell Branch, Pond B CS, Ponding Area 1 and Ponding Area 2.
1. Base Flood Elevations will be established for Pond B CS, Ponding Area 1 and Ponding Area 2.
2. The SFHA will decrease along Howell Branch, increase for Ponding Area 1 and stay the same for Pond B CS and Ponding Area 2.
