CITY OF DUNEDIN DUNEDIN, FLORIDA INVITATION TO BID #22-1207
Sealed bids for the “Dunedin Marina Electrical Upgrades Project” will be received until the time and date noted below at the Purchasing Office, in the Dunedin Community Center - Elliot Room, 1920 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance under the provisions of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) should submit their requirements in writing to the Purchasing Section 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.

The purpose of the project is to contract with a properly licensed Pinellas County contractor qualified to furnish and install all equipment, labor and materials necessary to complete the work. The work will be performed at the Dunedin Marina located at 51 Main Street Dunedin, FL. 34698. The work includes the demolition of existing equipment at three locations servicing the Dunedin Marina. Subsequent to demolition, the Contractor will furnish and install a new 400-amp main distribution cabinet, new electric meter enclosure and new wiring trough and other required materials and equipment. Other electric related services will be performed at the Fire Dock and Dock A.

Site Visit: The site is easily accessible to Contractors for inspection in preparation of submitting a bid.

Envelopes containing bids shall be securely sealed and clearly marked:

Bid specifications are available at the office the Purchasing Agent (Phone: 727-298-3077) at the address noted above. You may also email your request to: [email protected] or download the specifications from www.demandstar.com. Bids shall be prepared in the same format as listed in the specifications and remain firm for a period of 90 calendar days. The City reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interest of the City; to waive informalities; or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with these instructions and specifications may be disqualified.
