Request for Proposal (RFP) for Roofing Services for
Port Charlotte United Methodist Church

NOTICE is hereby given that Port Charlotte United Methodist Church is soliciting responses for a Contract for roofing a portion of the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church.

The Port Charlotte United Methodist Church seeks roofing services from firms to complete the removal of roofing material damaged by wind and rain caused by Hurricane Ian and replacement with new roofing. Each proposal will meet all submission requirements and will be independently evaluated and assigned a score for each evaluation criteria up to the maximum points. Specific criteria are published in the Request for Proposal. The Contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be administered by the Client as a project under the FEMA Public Assistance Program. The anticipated contract will be consistent with Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements and Federal construction requirements.

The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220. This announcement is open to all businesses. Additional consideration will be given to certified Federal Small Businesses. Firms must be capable of immediately responding to and working on the project. The bid documents will only be made available in electronic format. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed.

Details are published in the Request for Proposal. Requests for RFP documents shall be submitted by email before 12:00 pm on 11 April 2023 to [email protected].

There will not be a site visit for this solicitation. It is expected that contractors will use computerized means to obtain the information normally garnered in a site visit.

DEADLINE: All proposals must be delivered by email before 5:00 PM ON 27 APRIL 2023. Any proposal delivered after this time may not be considered.

Port Charlotte United Methodist Church reserves the right to award the contract to the proposal that provides the best value according to the evaluation. Port Charlotte United Methodist Church also reserves their right to cancel the request for proposal process, without any penalty.
