THE STATE OF FLORIDA, and all of the Property Owners, Taxpayers and Citizens of the State of Florida, including nonresidents owning property or subject to taxation therein and all others having or claiming any right, title or interest in property to be affected by the issuance of the bonds herein described, or to be affected in any way thereby,
Defendants.
TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA, THROUGH THE STATE ATTORNEY FOR THE SECOND JUDICIAL CIRCUIT OF FLORIDA, AND THE PROPERTY OWNERS, TAXPAYERS AND CITIZENS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, INCLUDING SPECIFICALLY THOSE WITHIN LEON COUNTY, FLORIDA, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FLORIDA, LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, OSCEOLA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA, INCLUDING NONRESIDENTS OWNING PROPERTY OR SUBJECT TO TAXATION THEREIN AND ALL OTHERS HAVING OR CLAIMING ANY RIGHT, TITLE OR INTEREST IN PROPERTY TO BE AFFECTED BY THE BONDS HEREIN DESCRIBED, OR TO BE AFFECTED THEREBY:
You and each of you are hereby required to appear, in-person, on Monday, the 5th day of February, 2024, at 10:00 o'clock a.m. (ET), before the Circuit Court for the Second Judicial Circuit, in and for Leon County, Florida, at the Leon County Courthouse, 301 South Monroe Street, in Chambers, Room 365-D, Tallahassee, Florida 32301, and to show cause why the Complaint for Validation filed in this action should not be granted, and the Bonds herein described and the proceedings authorizing the issuance thereof validated and confirmed, said Bonds being designated “Not to Exceed $5,000,000,000 Florida Local Government Finance Commission Revenue Bonds (Public Projects), in Various Series and Not to Exceed $5,000,000,000 Florida Local Government Finance Commission Revenue Bonds (Private Projects), in Various Series,” a more particular description of said Bonds being contained in the Complaint for Validation filed in this action.
This Order to Show Cause shall be published in the manner required by Section 75.06, Florida Statutes, as amended, in a newspaper published and of general circulation in Leon County, Florida, Brevard County, Florida, Charlotte County, Florida, Lee County, Florida, Osceola County, Florida, and Sarasota County, Florida, once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the date of the hearing set forth in the preceding paragraph, the first publication to be at least twenty (20) days prior to said date.
