MINOR LOT SPLITS
ORDINANCE 2023-07
The Oakland Town Commission will hold a second and final public hearing on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 7:00 PM, to consider the adoption of Ordinance 2023-07 to adopt an amendment to Article 2, Section 2.5., of the Town's Land Development Code to allow the Town Manager to administratively approve minor lot splits subject to requirements provided in the ordinance. The Town Commission public hearing will be held in Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington Street, Oakland, FL 34760.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE 2, SECTION 2.5, SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS, TO ALLOW AGGREGATED PLATTED OR VESTED LOTS OF RECORD TO BE SPLIT BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL PLATTED LOT OR VESTED LOT OF RECORD; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The full ordinance may be obtained from the Town Clerk's Office at 230 N Tubb Street Oakland, FL 34760 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except Town designated holidays.
If any person desires to appeal any decision of the Town Commission or any other Board of the City, that person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).

This meeting will be held as an in-person meeting and livestreamed to Zoom. Attendees may watch the livestream of the meeting via the Zoom link below, however, attendees will be in listen-only mode and will not have the opportunity to provide public comment virtually.
