NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Article I, Sections 1-9 and 1-10, and Article V, Section 5-9, of the City of Ocoee Land Development Code that on TUESDAY, APRIL 11, 2023, AT 6:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as practical, the OCOEE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at the City of Ocoee Commission Chambers located at 1 North Bluford Avenue, Ocoee, Florida, to consider the Annexation and Rezoning from Orange County R-1 (Single Family Dwelling District) to City of Ocoee R-1A (Single Family Dwelling District) for the property located at 608 East Silver Star Road. The property is assigned Parcel ID # 17-22-28-0000-00-030 and consists of two (2) portions totaling .318 acres. With the larger portion north of E. Silver Star Road, being .294 acres, and the smaller southern portion south of E. Silver Star Road, being .024 acres in size. The property is located on the north and south sides of State Road 438/Silver Star Road, beginning approximately 230 feet east of Orange Avenue. A single-family home currently occupies the property, and the applicant is requesting to annex into the City in order to obtain central water services.
Interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed action. The complete case file may be inspected at the Ocoee Development Services Department located at 1 North Bluford Avenue, Ocoee, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. You are advised that any person who desires to appeal any decision made at the public hearings will need a record of the proceedings and, for this purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
