NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT BY
LAKEWOOD RANCH STEWARDSHIP DISTRICT
In accordance with Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 2005-338, Laws of Florida, the Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District (“District”) hereby gives notice of its intention to develop a rule setting user fees and charges related to the District's provision of non-potable irrigation water. The purpose and effect of the proposed rule is to provide sufficient revenues to meet expenses and provide services related to the District's non-potable irrigation water utility services. A public hearing will be conducted by the District on July 7, 2023, at 9:00 am. at 14400 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch, Florida 34202. Specific legal authority for the rule includes Sections 6(6)(e) and 6(6)(j) of Chapter 2005-338, Laws of Florida, as amended, and 120.054, Florida Statutes.
