CITY OF DUNEDIN DUNEDIN, FLORIDA INVITATION TO BID #24-1248
Sealed bids for the “Library Landscape Upgrade” project will be received until the time and date noted below at the Purchasing Office, at Dunedin City Hall Attn. Purchasing Agent, 737 Louden Ave Suite 212, Dunedin, Florida 34698. Bids will be opened, logged in and read aloud at that time. Any individual requiring assistance under the provisions of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) should submit their requirements in writing to the Purchasing Section 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made.

The purpose of the project is to contract with a properly licensed contractor qualified to furnish and install all equipment, labor and materials necessary to complete the work. Dunedin Public Library. The location of the project is at 223 Douglas Ave, Dunedin, FL 34698.

The work includes, but not limited to: Removal of pavers, pouring a colored and patterned concrete slab; replacing soils and waterproofing in planters; installing fiberglass liners with sealing; filling planters with crushed granite and planting soils, and adding irrigation for new vegetation. Additionally, it involves applying Henry System 789 damp-proofing material, installing underdrains, and erecting CMU blocks for the memorial brick wall. Refer to the Plan Sheets for detailed specifications.

The City has budgeted $125,000 for this work.

Envelopes containing bids shall be securely sealed and clearly marked:

All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond drawn in favor of the City of Dunedin in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Bid specifications are available at the office the Purchasing Agent (Phone: 727-298-3077) at the address noted above. You may also email your request to: [email protected] or download the specifications from www.demandstar.com.

Bids shall be prepared in the same format as listed in the specifications and remain firm for a period of 90 calendar days. The City reserves the right to accept those bids which are in the best interest of the City; to waive informalities; or to reject any or all bids. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with these instructions and specifications may be disqualified.
