VILLAGES OF BLOOMINGDALE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION PER SECTIONS 119.071(3)(a) AND 281.301, FLORIDA STATUTES
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors (“Board”) of the Villages of Bloomingdale Community Development District (“District”) will hold a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors on April 23, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the Villages of Bloomingdale Clubhouse, 6301 Valleydale Drive, Riverview, Florida 33578. At such time the Board is so authorized and may consider any business that may properly come before it. Anyone wishing to access and participate in the meeting should refer to the District's website at www.villagesofbloomingdalecdd.com or contact 4530 Eagle Falls Place, Tampa, Florida 33619, Phone: (813) 344-4844 (“District Manager's Office”) beginning seven (7) days in advance of the meeting to obtain access information.
Please note: In accordance with Sections 119.071(3)(a) and 281.301, Florida Statutes, the first portion of the Regular Meeting may be closed to the public, as it relates to the District's security system plan. The closed session is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. but may begin at any time during the Regular Meeting, and is expected to last approximately thirty to forty-five (30-45) minutes, but may end earlier than expected or may extend longer. When the security system plan agenda item is discussed, the public will be asked to leave. The public will be notified that they may return upon completion of the discussion regarding the security system plan.
A copy of the agenda may be obtained at the District Manager's Office during normal business hours. The meeting is open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida law for community development districts. The meeting may be continued to a date, time, and place to be specified on the record at such meeting.
Any person requiring special accommodations in order to access and participate in the meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the District Manager's Office at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting. If you are hearing or speech impaired, please contact the Florida Relay Service by dialing 7-1-1, or 1-800-955-8771 (TTY) / 1-800-955-8770 (Voice), for aid in contacting the District Manager's Office.
Each person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the Regular Meeting is advised that person will need a record of proceedings and that accordingly, the person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
