NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PARKING AND TOWING
RULE DEVELOPMENT BY HIGHLAND MEADOWS II
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
In accordance with Chapters 120 and 190, Florida Statutes, the Highland Meadows II Community Development District (“District”) hereby gives notice of its intent to develop rules related to parking and towing enforcement, rulemaking, and its intent to revise the Amended and Restated Rules Governing the Highland Meadows II Community Development District (the “Rules”) to modify and/or change where and when street parking is allowed and/or prohibited, modifying section numbering, and providing for certain clarifications. The revisions to the Rules will also provide clarification and supplemental regulations applicable to on-street parking and the District Parking Areas, as defined in the Rules. Specific legal authority for the Rules includes sections 190.011, 190.012, 190.035, 120.54, and 120.81, Florida Statutes.
The purpose and effect of these rules are to provide for efficient and effective operations of the District. Specific legal authority for the rules includes Sections 120.54, 120.69, 190.011, 190.012, and 190.035, Florida Statutes. A public hearing will be conducted by the District on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practical, at Shamrock First Baptist Church, located at 2661 Marshall Rd., Haines City, FL 33844.
