NOTICE OF SALE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 715
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Atlantica, LLC will sell to the highest and best bidder for cash at 14027 1st Avenue East, Bradenton, FL 34212 where the personal property is stored in accordance with Chapter 715 Florida Statutes, Manatee County, Florida at 12:00 pm on the 22nd day of February 2024, the following described personal property abandoned by Amanda S. Abourezk a/k/a Amanda Abourezk, Walter A. Abourezk and/or Unknown Tenant(s) n/k/a Paul Herbach:
1) two wooden doors valued at over $500.00; 2) a door frame valued at over $500.00; 3) various windows and mirrors valued over $500.00; 4) various personal furnishings and fixtures valued together at over $500 which were left in the garage and sporadic places around the abode; 5) a couch valued approximately over $500.00; 6) a treadmill valued over $500.00; 7) a gaming chair valued over $500.00; 8) a damaged billiards table with ripped felt valued over $500.00; and 8) a dining room table and chair set valued over $500.00.
After deduction of the reasonable costs of storage, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, advertising, and sale, any balance of the proceeds of the sale which is not claimed by the former tenant or an owner other than such tenant shall be paid into the treasury of the Manatee County not later than 30 days after the date of sale. The former tenant or other owner or other person having interest in the funds may claim the balance within 1 year from the date of payment to the county by making an application to the county treasurer or other official designated by the county. If the county pays the balance or any part thereof to a claimant, neither the county nor any officer or employee thereof is liable to any other claimant as to the amount paid. Notice of the time of sale shall be published as provided herein. Any party may bid at the public sale. The successful bidder's title is subject to the ownership rights, liens, and security interest which has priority by Florida law.
