CHANGE IN WARD'S DOMICILE
TO ALABAMA

Notice is hereby given of the termination of the Florida Guardianship of the ward, Marvin Mayes. The guardianship will be terminated in Florida because of the ward's change in domicile to another state. The case is presently pending in the Probate Court of Mongomery County, Alabama. The address for the clerk of the probate court is 101 South Lawrence Street, Mongomery, AL, 36101.
Connie Paris and Dierdra Ramsay have been appointed Co-Guardians of the Ward in the State of Alabama. The address for the guardians' attorney in Alabama is 323 Adams Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104.
A petition for discharge is pending in the Florida guardianship based upon the change of domicile of the ward. The guardian filed a final accounting on January 31, 2024, and has filed a Petition for Discharge on January 31, 2024. If there are no objections, this matter may be resolved without hearing and the jurisdiction over this case will be transferred to Mongomery, Alabama.
Any objections to the guardian's final accounting or the petition for discharge must be filed with the clerk of the Florida court within the later of 30 days after service of these pleadings upon interested persons or the date of the first publication of this notice. Objections shall be in writing and shall specify the nature of the objections with particularity. If a notice of hearing on the objections is not served within 90 days, any objections shall be deemed abandoned.
The date of first publication of this notice is February 9, 2024.
