Notice
The City of Plant City Engineering Department hereby gives notice of the City of Plant City's intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between 2400 Police Center Dr and Jim Johnson Road. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Case No. 23-04-5362P for a project along Howell Branch. Charleston Enterprises, LLC modified a control structure as part of a warehouse development.
The following flood hazards along Howell Branch will be modified, Pond B and Ponding Area 1.
1. Base Flood Elevations will be established for Pond B and Ponding Area 1.
2. The SFHA will decrease along Howell Branch, increase for Ponding Area 1 and stay the same for Pond B.
Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the City of Plant City at 302 W Reynolds St, Plant City, FL 33563. Interested persons may call Rob Wassum at 813-659-4200 for additional information from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
