COMPLAINT

ALL PERSONS, FIRMS AND CORPORATIONS OWNING, HAVING OR CLAIMING AN INTEREST IN OR LIEN ON THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED PROPERTY.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has filed a petition for the forfeiture as to the above-described property. The property was seized on or about July 30, 2024, pursuant to ยง 932.701-932.704 and is now in the possession of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. A Forfeiture Complaint was filed with the clerk of court on August 21, 2024. Any person wishing to contest this claim must file a responsive pleading with the Clerk of the Court on or before October 3, 2024, and send a copy to the undersigned attorney. Any interested party is hereby directed and required to file a claim on or before October 3, 2024, and to direct said claim to: Daniel Palardy, Senior Assistant Attorney General Florida Bar No. 1040666, Attorney for the Department of Legal Affairs, whose address is Office of the Attorney General, 1300 Riverplace Blvd STE 405 Jacksonville, FL 32207. If any interested party fails to file a claim as herein directed judgment will be entered herein against you in due course. Persons not personally served with process may obtain a copy of the Complaint for forfeiture filed herein from the undersigned clerk of court. If no claimants appear the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office will be seeking a final order of forfeiture.
