COPPERSTONE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
SPECIAL MEETING ATTORNEY/CLIENT SESSION MEETING MONDAY,
OCTOBER 7, 2024 AT 6:00 PM HARRISON RANCH CLUBHOUSE,
5755 HARRISON RANCH BOULEVARD, PARRISH, FL 34219
A meeting will be held under the Attorney/Client Session provisions available under Florida's Sunshine Law, Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, on Monday, October 7, 2024, and beginning at 6:00 p.m. and lasting approximately ninety (90) minutes at the request of the District's Attorney. This meeting shall be held at the Harrison Ranch Clubhouse, 5755 Harrison Ranch Boulevard, Parrish, FL 34219. This meeting shall commence at an open meeting and then will move into an Attorney/Client Session limited in attendance to the District Attorneys, Mark Barnebey, Marisa Powers, Charles Johnson and Matthew Liebert and District Manager Stephanie DeLuna who will meet in private with the Board of Supervisors of the Copperstone Community Development District (Adam Bailey, Gerard Litrenta, Tom Fretz, Michael Fondario, Ryan Stulman), and a court reporter who will transcribe the full proceedings to be made part of the public record for release at the conclusion of the litigation for the purpose of discussing: settlement negotiations or strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures in the following court case: Copperstone Community Development District v. Crosscreek Environmental, Inc., et al, Case No.: 2023-CA-0041075. At the conclusion of the private portion of the meeting, the meeting shall then reopen in public.
PURSUANT TO SECTION 286.0105, FLORIDA STATUTES, IF AN INDIVIDUAL DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT THIS MEETING, A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS WILL BE REQUIRED AND THE INDIVIDUAL WILL NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM TRANSCRIPT OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORDING INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS BASED.
PURSUANT TO SECTION 286.26, FLORIDA STATUTES, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT AND FLORIDA STATE STATUTES, PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROCEEDING SHOULD CONTACT THE DISTRICT MANAGER AT LEAST THREE BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE MEETING (813) 933-5571.
