REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
PROPERTY AND AMENITY
MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Notice is hereby given that the Covington Park Community Development District (the “District”) will accept proposals from qualified entities interested in providing property and amenity management services for the District as described in the District's Request for Proposal for Property and Amenity Management Services (the “RFP”). The District owns the Covington Park Clubhouse, an amenity facility located within the District, and other amenities which require management services.
The RFP will be available beginning on September 30, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am. In order to obtain the RFP, please submit a request via email to R. David Jackson, District Counsel, at [email protected]. The RFP will also be available on the District's website: covingtonparkcdd.org.
The District was created by Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. The entities submitting proposals must be able to provide all amenity management services as outlined in the RFP and meet the following qualifications: (i) authorized to do business in the State of Florida; (ii) be fully licensed and insured; (iii) have five or more years minimum continuous operation; and (iv) have experience with at least three other communities of a similar nature, size and amenity level to the Covington Park community, with verifiable references. Proposer will be encouraged to have made a site visit prior to submitting the proposal and will be responsible for its own evaluation of the District's amenities. In addition, Proposer shall provide pricing for three years of service (commencement date TBD).
Any Proposer desiring to submit a proposal for this RFP must submit one (1) electronic copy of the required proposal no later than Friday, October 18, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. to R. David Jackson, District Counsel, Covington Park Community Development District, via e-mail at [email protected]. Any proposal not completed as specified or missing the required proposal documents may be disqualified at the District's sole and absolute discretion. Proposals will be reviewed and then a final decision made by the District's Board of Supervisors at a duly noticed public meeting on October 28, 2024, at 6:00 P.M, at the Covington Park Clubhouse, 6806 Covington Gardens Drive, Apollo Beach, FL 33572.
The District has the right to reject any and all proposals in its sole and absolute discretion, whether or not reasonable, either with or without cause, and waive any technical errors, informalities or irregularities if it determines in its discretion, it is in the best interest to do so. The District may further postpone the award of the contract, elect not to proceed with the subject award process and/or to accept a proposal or portion of a proposal, which in its judgment best serves the District. Any and all questions relative to this project shall be directed in writing, by e-mail only, to R. David Jackson at [email protected]. Questions received after 4:00 p.m. on October 14, 2024, will not be answered. Answers to all questions will be provided to all proposers via e-mail.
