The work generally consists of the following:
This project includes abandoning the existing 4” cast iron pipe and installing a new 6” PVC water main on Ranchwood Drive S and Hitching Post Lane. The project also includes the installation of new under drain on Ranchwood Drive S. Work includes all valves, fittings, restraints and reinstating devices.
The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $833,300.00
The time allotted for this project is 180 days for substantial completion.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on, January 14, 2025, at 10:00 am., at Dunedin City Hall, 737 Louden Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698 in the Caladesi Conference Room (Room #113)
All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to [email protected]. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. An addendum posted to https://www.demandstar.com will communicate questions and answers to all respondents. The last addendum will be posted to https://www.demandstar.com five (5) days before the bid due stated below. The City reserves the right to modify this schedule at any time.

All work performed shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. Plans and specifications can be obtained by going to DemandStar at www.demandstar.com .
It is the bidder's responsibility to check www.demandstar.com for final documents and addendum prior to bid submittal.

In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidder's name and address. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the BIDDER will not withdraw from the competition after the opening of the bids and, if written notice is given of such award, enter into a written Contract with the City of Dunedin, Florida, in accordance with the written Proposal. Should the successful BIDDER fail to enter into a Contract, the bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.
