One Hundred Three Dollars) in U.S. Currency
ALL PERSONS who claim an interest in the following property: $4,103.00 (Four Thousand One Hundred Three Dollars) U.S. Currency, which was seized because said Currency is alleged to be contraband as defined by Sections 932.701(2)(a)(1-6), Florida Statutes, by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Division of Florida Highway Patrol, on or about April 24, 2024, in Pasco County, Florida. Any owner, entity, bona fide lienholder, or person in possession of the Currency when seized has the right to request an adversarial preliminary hearing for a probable cause determination within fifteen (15) days of initial receipt of notice, by providing such request to Rebecca Pettit, Deputy Chief Counsel, Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, 3247 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland, Florida 33805, by certified mail return receipt requested. A complaint for forfeiture has been filed in the above styled court.
