NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Oakland will hold a second and final public hearing and proposes to adopt an ordinance as follows:
ORDINANCE NO. 2025-04
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 14-183, “IMPACT FEE SCHEDULE”, OF CHAPTER 14 OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND CODE OF ORDINANCES; MAKING FINDINGS; AMENDING THE TOWN’S ADMINISTRATIVE FACILITIES, POLICE, PARKS AND RECREATION, WATER, AND WASTEWATER IMPACT FEES; PROVIDING FOR AUTHORIZATION OF TOWN OFFICIALS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The second and final public hearing will be held on the request as follows:

All hearings are open to the public. Any interested party is invited to offer comments about this request at the public hearing on July 22, 2025, or in advance by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025. Comments regarding the public hearing may be submitted in writing to the Town of Oakland, PO Box 98, Oakland, FL 34760, or by e-mail to [email protected]. A copy of the request can be inspected at the Town Hall. Any party appealing a land use decision made at a public hearing must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the evidence and testimony that is the basis of the appeal.
The time and/or location of public hearings are subject to change. Changes are announced at the initial scheduled hearing. Notice of any changes will not be published or mailed.
Any person needing special accommodations to attend a public hearing must contact Kathy Heard, Town Clerk, at 407-656-1117 x 2110, at least 24 hours before the meeting.
This meeting will be held as an in-person meeting and attendees may also attend virtually through the Zoom Platform; however, attendees will be in listen-only mode and will not have the opportunity to provide public comments virtually.
