PUBLIC NOTICE OF ZOOM NEIGHBORHOOD WORKSHOP

Neighborhood Workshop Location: Virtual on Zoom

Winchester Florida Ranch, LLLP, a Florida limited liability limited partnership (the “Applicant”), on behalf of itself and the City of North Port, will be hosting a virtual neighborhood workshop on Zoom at the URL below to review a proposed amendment to the Sarasota County Comprehensive Plan.

The subject property is generally identified as portions of Sarasota County PID Nos. 0821001000, 0821003000, 0825001000, 0827001000, 0829001000, 0830001000, 0831001000, 0833001000, and 0833001001. The workshop presentation will begin at 6:00 pm on Monday, April 7, 2025, with an opportunity to ask questions following a brief presentation.

This is not a public hearing. The purpose of the neighborhood workshop is for the Applicant to inform the neighboring residents of the nature of the proposed Amendment to the Sarasota County Comprehensive Plan and to solicit suggestions/questions, and to explain the related Development Concept Plan.

Request: The Applicant is requesting an amendment to the Sarasota County Comprehensive Plan. The current future land use classifications of the subject property are Rural, Semi-Rural, Moderate Density Residential (> 2 and < 5 DUs /acre), and Major Employment Center. The proposed future land use classifications of the subject property are Moderate Density Residential (> 2 and < 5 DUs /acre) and Major Employment Center.
